In a significant move to support sustainable development, North Sinai Governor, Major General Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha, emphasized the importance of renewable energy and its integration into development projects across the governorate. During an official meeting, the Governor welcomed Eng. Hatem El Romy, Chairman of Triple M Group and First Vice President of the Sustainable Energy Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, along with a high-level delegation from the company.
The Governor highlighted the strategic value of benefiting from Triple M Group’s expertise in renewable energy for agricultural projects across North Sinai. He specifically called for promoting renewable energy awareness and implementation throughout the region, especially in Central Sinai, which holds vast natural resources ideal for clean energy applications.
Triple M Group presented its vision for establishing a new renewable energy applications company in North Sinai, utilizing the area’s abundant solar, wind, and organic waste resources. Eng. Hatem El Romy underscored the company’s commitment to supporting Egypt’s 2035 energy strategy and creating integrated, sustainable agricultural communities powered by clean energy technologies.
Discussions also addressed the potential for Triple M Group to collaborate on development projects in key regions like El-Sar and El-Qawareer, as well as the agricultural clusters in El-Hassana and Nekhel. The Governor welcomed the group’s initiative to establish a renewable energy research center and proposed coordination with existing research bodies, including the Desert Research Center, to maximize impact.
In addition, a cooperation protocol was signed between Triple M Group and the Conference Party in North Sinai to launch renewable energy training programs for local youth in Bir El-Abd and Arish. Triple M will provide technical trainers and educational materials, while the party will secure training venues and participants—marking a powerful step toward capacity-building and sustainable employment in the region.
