As part of the Egyptian Farmers’ Day celebration, a delegation from the Arab Union for Sustainable Development and Environment—led by Dr. Ashraf Abdel Aziz Mansour, Secretary General of the Union and member of the Executive Office of the Arab League—visited REEF Organic Eco-Friendly Farm on the Ismailia Road. The event highlighted sustainable practices and local success stories that contribute to Egypt’s Vision 2030.
During the visit, Eng. Hatem El Romy, Chairman of Triple M Construction and Head of the Renewable Energy Committee at the Egyptian Scholars Council, emphasized the farm’s ambition to establish a self-sustaining, integrated ecological community. He explained that the farm serves as a live model for leveraging renewable energy sources—solar, wind, biogas, and hydrogen—aimed at environmental preservation and sustainable production.
Triple M Construction has played a key role in implementing several clean energy technologies across the farm. Eng. El Roumy noted that the farm features hydrogen production using solar and wind energy, alongside a water desalination unit that transforms brackish groundwater into freshwater suitable for irrigation and human use. The site also includes a 15 kW solar power station and a biogas unit producing up to 100 m³ of gas, which is also used as organic fertilizer.
The event was moderated by Dr. Wael Reda, Media Advisor and Head of CSR at Triple M Construction, who facilitated in-depth discussions between the Arab Union delegation and renewable energy experts, including Dr. Amr Abdelkader, Dr. Salah Ibrahim, Eng. Abbas Rady, Eng. Nabil El-Deeb, and Eng. Wasim El-Hefnawy—Director of REEF Farm. The dialogue highlighted opportunities for collaboration and innovation in sustainability-driven projects.
