Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sami El Sherif, Secretary-General of the Association of Islamic Universities, Triple M for Renewable Energy organized a scientific seminar titled “Climate Change and Its Impact on Development Issues” at the environmentally friendly REEF Organic Farm, located on the Ismailia Desert Road. The event was part of the company’s ongoing efforts to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable practices within the Arab and Islamic communities.
The seminar tackled multiple topics of global and regional importance, including the impact of climate change on education, economic development, agricultural productivity, livestock, and water security. Discussions also explored carbon emission reduction strategies and the applications of renewable energy. Through this initiative, Triple M reaffirms its commitment to spreading scientific knowledge and encouraging environmentally responsible development.
Eng. Hatem El Roumy, Chairman of Triple M, emphasized in his opening remarks that the company’s mission extends beyond energy solutions to fostering a culture of sustainability and interconnectedness among communities. He highlighted the need to empower future generations through environmentally sound practices that honor the balance between development and nature, in line with Islamic principles and scientific advancement.
During his keynote address, Prof. Dr. Sami El Sherif praised the significance of holding such a seminar in a location like REEF Farm, where desert land has been successfully transformed using advanced agricultural and renewable energy technologies. He commended Triple M’s approach and noted that the Association of Islamic Universities will work to support and scale similar development models across its member institutions.
