Triple M for Renewable Energy welcomed a distinguished delegation from the Strategic Forum for Development and Social Peace to REEF Organic Eco-Farm, located on the Ismailia Desert Road. The visit was led by Prof. Dr. Alaa Rizq, President of the Forum, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Salah Aref from the American University in Cairo and Dr. Samia Abu El-Nasr, Managing Editor at Al-Ahram newspaper. The delegation was introduced to the farm’s sustainable energy initiatives and its vision for a self-sufficient, environmentally integrated model.
Eng. Hatem El Romy, Chairman of Triple M and Head of the Renewable Energy Committee at the Egyptian Scholars Council, explained that REEF Farm aims to create a fully integrated and self-reliant eco-community. He emphasized the farm’s focus on implementing a diverse range of renewable energy projects, making it a live demonstration of scalable, clean energy systems that could be replicated across other regions.
During the visit, Triple M highlighted its efforts in green hydrogen production, achieved by utilizing solar and wind power to provide clean energy for the process. Eng. El Romy also noted the farm’s advanced water desalination unit, converting saline groundwater into fresh water for human use and irrigation, and a solar power plant with a 40 kW capacity, in addition to a biogas system producing up to 100 cubic meters of gas for organic fertilizer use.
